I have always had a creative passion and that was one of the many reasons why I chose to open up The Creative Space Studio. Growing up, I was always doing craft projects with my Mom. Every weekend, we would plan a craft project together and create it. These were some of the best times that I had growing up.
When we moved to Brookings, I was looking for a space to house my photography studio. After finding our new space, I got to thinking about what else we could offer the community of Brookings. This is where it all came together. I needed a photography studio for my clients, but why not offer my space for use to other photographers, content creators, influencers or even anyone that was interested in taking photos. I also wanted a creative space where any age person could enjoy painting, crafting and just having an outlet to decompress- just as I did when I was younger. This is where my idea of the DIY studio came about. A place for any age to come in to let go of stress and have a creative outlet.
